Notes: Farm located at 9328 Grove Springs Road Urbana NY Located Across the road from the Margeson Cemetery Barn still standing as of 2025 Estate of Israel Margeson (Hence why it says est in 1873 atlas) The Beckwith mentioned is Israel(2)’s daughter Summary: After Israel(2)’s death the estate belonged to his wife Cynthia Margeson. The deed dated Nov. 10. 1890 explains that Israel(2) and Cynthia's Daughter, Mary A McGowen (Margeson at the time) gained the following rights to the estate: "Receiving however to the sole and exclusive use of Mary Beckwith for and during the lifetime of said Cynthia Margeson the south kitchen and pantry on the first floor of the dwelling house ______ premises and the south room on the second floor thereof” Frank Later sold the Property in 1891

After leaving New York, Thomas and Mary Margeson spent about twenty-three years in Varnan Town, New Jersey, where Thomas worked as a shoemaker before the family migrated to western New York in 1806.
