Holden's Archive began as one family's research and grew into a working collection. Along the way we acquired more than a family archive can properly hold — county deeds, estate inventories, letters, almanacs, coins pulled from old cigar boxes. What does not belong in the archive is offered here rather than left in a drawer.
Everything is described honestly: the condition you see is the condition you get, wear and all. Most pieces are one-of-a-kind, so when something sells it is gone. Questions about an item, its provenance, or what we are looking for are always welcome.
