Original Austrian handwritten manuscript, circa 1530. German script in brown ink on time-toned paper.
This account / inventory page comes from binding waste, with expected glue traces and slight loss of text along the margin.
From a collection of papers addressed to the Zott von Pernegg family — Hieronymus Zott von Pernegg, Chief Mining Master, and Johann Zott von Pernegg, Salt Administrator, in Hall in Tyrol. A rare relic of 16th-century Austrian history.
Condition is fair for a document nearly 500 years old — see photos for full detail.
