There is some inconsistency in the returned age of the heir, but "aged 38" was the overwhelming consensus. He was aged 38 in the IPMs of Suffolk, London, Essex, Lincoln, Norfolk, Northampton and York;aged 36 in the IPM of Newcastle upon Tyne; aged 26 in the IPM of Northumberland and Cumberland.
