Note: The 5 January 1381/2 death date was given in the earlier version of Complete Peerage - Vol. 5 (1893) L-M, pp 243-244, which did not give a death date for Roger's wife Phillipe. The 1932 versionof Complete Peerage - Vol. 8 (1932) Lindley to Moate - https://dcms.lds.org/delivery/DeliveryManagerServlet?dps_pid=IE3867196 - gives Roger's wife Philippe the death date of 5 Jan. 1381/2 (p 445) andstates that Edmund's wife Philippe predeceased him (he died in December 1381), leaving a will dated 13 November 1378, proved 9 February 1381 (p 448), citing "P.C.C. 189 Courtenay, printed in Test. Vet., p. 101" for the will proved dated. Richardson (Royal Ancestry, published in 2013, volume IV, pages 173-175 MORTIMER 12 & 13) gives the same will proved date for Roger's wife, also citing P.C.C. 189Courtenay, and gives the death date of "on or before 7 Jan. 1377/8" for Edmund's wife.
