Cawley reports that Flodoard names "Rothildis…nuper defunctæ" when recording that "Heribertus et Hugo comites" (specifying that "Hugo" was "gener ipsius Rothildis") attacked "Bosonem Rodulfi regis frater" in 929 over the property of Rothildis. This is also the only source so far identified from which her marriage is deduced. She is also named in the necrology of the abbey of Saint-Germain-des-Présand the necrology of the abbey of Saint-Denis. Cited by Charles Cawley and Foundation for Medieval Genealogy.
