Genuine handwritten Austrian document, circa 1530. German script in brown ink on aged paper.
This account / inventory page was recovered from binding waste, with the usual glue traces and slight loss of text at the margin.
From a group of documents addressed to the Zott von Pernegg family — Hieronymus Zott von Pernegg, Chief Mining Master, and Johann Zott von Pernegg, Salt Administrator, in Hall in Tyrol. A scarce piece of 16th-century Austrian history.
Condition is fair considering its nearly 500-year age — please see photos for detail.
