Authentic 16th-century Austrian handwritten document, c.1530. German script in brown ink on mellowed paper.
This is an account / inventory page from binding waste, with characteristic glue traces and slight loss of text at the edge.
Part of the Zott von Pernegg family papers — Hieronymus Zott von Pernegg, Chief Mining Master, and Johann Zott von Pernegg, Salt Administrator, in Hall in Tyrol. A rare piece of Austrian history from the 1500s.
Fair condition after nearly 500 years — the photos tell the full story.
